Welcome to the Post Year 10 Fixed Term, Sessional and Relief Employment Register.
This Register will allow you to register your interest in a fixed term, sessional and/or relief capacity with the Tasmanian Polytechnic, Skills Institute and the Tasmanian Academy.
You can also visit the Careers with the Tasmanian Government web site (www.jobs.tas.gov.au) to view other current vacancies and associated selection criteria information for either the Tasmanian Polytechnic, Skills Institute and the Tasmanian Academy.

A Pre-employment check is NOT required to register, however is a requirement for any person offered employment within the Tasmanian Academy, Polytechnic or Skills Institute to undergo a pre-employment check (current National Police check) prior to commencing any work. National Police checks can be applied for via Tasmania Police.
As an applicant of this Register you are encouraged to have a current pre-employment check to ensure you are able to commence work immediately, if offered employment.
Teacher Registration - if you have current Tasmanian Teacher Registration you do not require a Pre-employment check. It is a requirement for individuals seeking to register for a teaching role within the Tasmanian Academy and Tasmanian Polytechnic to be registered with the Teachers Registration Board (TRB). Further information can be obtained from TRB's web site (www.trb.tas.gov.au)
Please note, to create a Username you must have an email address, as this is used to supply you with your password, as well as keep you informed of vacancies, etc. If you currently don't have an email address you may get a free web-based email account from GMAIL, Yahoo! or Hotmail.
Once you have created yourself a Username you are able to add, modify and update your personal employment application data at any time during the year to reflect your changing circumstances.
